    Job Summary

    Maintain pharmaceutical quality at the affiliates company according to Local, FDA and EU GMP rules, through succeeding in meeting criteria and controls while inspecting visits.

    Duties and Responsibilities (All below on a Corporate Level)

    -          Participating in the development and execution of goals, policies and objectives and effectively managing the implementation

    -          Participating in the development of strategies and objectives of the department.

    -          Developing and managing the execution of short term plans for implementing the approved objectives.

    -          Flourishing suggestions and recommendations that would enable a more effective and efficient work flow.

    -          Monitoring the work flow within the department and ensuring that all preventive and corrective actions are being made promptly.

    -          Participating in developing the department’s budgets and managing the activities within towards achieving the set budget.

    -          Developing managerial and technical circulars within the department towards the achievement of the set plans and objectives.

    -          Developing managerial and technical circulars within the department towards the achievement of the set plans and objectives.

    -          Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates regarding work priorities and ensuring work is flowing smoothly.

    Executive & Technical Duties

    -          Participate in the design, monitoring and maintenance of effective pharmaceutical quality system elements through (complaints, deviations, CAPA, training records, etc.) to affiliates of the company.

    -          Provide quality and compliance oversight of the quality systems and those of contract manufacturing and testing facilities.

    -          Lead Market Action Fact Finding investigations related to operations of contract manufacturing partners, preparing and presenting information to senior management.

    -          Review, evaluate/approve new contract manufacturing and testing facilities.

    -          Lead/participate in Audit Contractor and Suppliers for GMP compliance

    -          Develop and maintain a top-functioning quality system that meets the intended regulatory requirements and aligned with the company’s mission and quality strategies, by continuously observing Vendor qualification, third party quality contract.

    -          Participate in the development and execution of goals, policies and objectives and effectively managing the implementation.

    -          Track progress versus timelines and goals.

    -          Participate with the quality unit head (manager/director) on identifying the FDA, EU and Local GMP application within internal quality system

    General Administrative Duties

    -          Developing periodic reports related to the activities of the department and forwarding them to the Quality Director

    -          Recommending training aspects to subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of development and reflecting them properly on work related requirements.

    -          Overseeing the manpower planning process as per the developed budgets and plans.

    -          Conducting performance management activities to subordinates and managing the process of ensuring objectives are being met as advised.

    -          Following up on subordinates’ personnel affairs such as leaves, vacations …etc.

    -          Advising a deputy to handle the job’s requirements in case of absence or if the need arises.

    -          Handling any other work-related activities as per the direction of the Direct Manager

     

  • Required Experience:

    -         B.Sc. degree in Pharmacy, Chemical engineering, Chemistry or other science Related Subject.

    -         A minimum of twelve years’ experience in Pharmaceutical industry (Experience in production, QC and QA for different dosage forms), among which at least three years in a supervisory position

    -          Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English language
